Color Run Nails

Hi!!!! I recently participated in a 5k run that came to my city called The Color Run! A few days before I thought it'd be fun to do some colorful splatter nails to go along with all the colored powder they were going to throwing at us!

I started out with a white base and picked out my colored polishes while that dried. After I picked out the five colors I wanted to use I started splattering colors on my nails randomly! I used a really thin straw to do the paint splatters.

I splattered the colors in different order so that each nail would look like the colors were all layered individually on each nail, even thought they weren't. Once I liked how they looked I just let them dry for a while before adding a topcoat.

Here's what my hands looked like all colored by the Color Run powder!

Water Spotted Nails

Ever since I saw pictures of OPI Black Spotted I've wanted it! Sadly, it's only sold in France and I don't know anyone who lives there so no Black Spotted for me :(

BUT!!!!! I saw two YouTube videos by Cute Polish and My Simple Little Pleasures that showed how to get the Black Spotted look!! I was extremely excited to try it out and get these water spotted nails!

I started out by painting my nails with a thin coat of white polish. Once it dried I randomly sponged on different neon colors. Then I taped my fingers like I was getting ready to water marble and started water spotted part! It was fairly easy to do and wasn't as frustrating as water marbling can end up being.

I completely love how it turned out! I've also started thinking of other color combinations to try!!! Both hands turned out really different but I don't even mind cause they just look so cool :)
